SNOW DAY!!!!!!

For some of us we got a snow day, the first of the year!
I woke up early to see if my work and the boys school was posted on channel 11 news, at first nothing but I didn't give up.  My good friend Nancy texted me to tell me that the Vilonia Schools were closed, well at least the boys would be happy!!  Finally I got a text from my boss saying that the court house would be closed due to the weather!  YIPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Back to bed I went but it wasn't long before the boys got up and wanted to go out side to play.

They were so excited to get out in the snow! They made snow angels and we managed to make a very small snow man. The snow was so dry it didn't really pack well so........

Those are my little angels!

And without further adieu........I give you........

Pitiful I know!
That raps up our snow day out side. It wasn't long before it all melted and we were back at school and work! Unitl next time......
GOD BLESS!

The Lawrence's go to Branson for the New Year!!

Us and my parents made our way to Branson for the New Year and were very excited about it!  The boys were so looking forward to really jus one thing and that was to go swimming in the heated pool!!  Our first stop was to the Dixie Stampede to see the Christmas show and to eat too!!!!!! The pre show was really good and the boys really liked the juggler!

the boys got their very own boot mugs complete with strawberry drink. YUM~YUM!!!
After the pre show we headed to our seats to start the real deal.   As we were being seated I asked our waitress if we could be in the show and by my surprise she said "yeah maybe, I'll check".  I did not think much of it until she came back and said "ok guys yall are in!".  I was so excited, Colt on the other hand, not so much! The last time we got to be in the show was on our honey moon and that did not go so well, not to mention we didn't even win!!!  The time came for us to head on down to the arena to ride our stick horses twice around these snowmen and the first to finish won!

Oh yeah that's right.....we won!!!!!!! GO SOUTH POLE!!
We couldn't beleive it, medals and everything!!!  The boys were so proud and wanted to wear them all weekend!!

Of course we did the usuall in Branson, shop and eat.  We did go to the Branson Landing and go in the Bass Pro Shop, the boys just love that place!

They loved that silly bear so much we even had to tell it good bye when we left! Well we ate some more of course and went to a few more shops here and there.  New Years eve night we went to a show that was, well........ interesting to ring in the New Year. We didn't quite make it though.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

We headed back to the hotel around 11:30 or so and hit the sack!  The next day we went to the IMAX and seen the princess and the frog. (eeehhhh.....it was ok)  We did some more eating and went to some more shops. All in all we had a great time being together and getting away for a little while!
May The Lord Bless you all in the new year!
Love~The Lawrences
We all had a blast being together and just getting away for a little while!

WII PLAY'N WITH THE FAMILY

Just wanted to do a quick post to say that we are love'n our Wii! The boys (and the parents too, HE-HE) are having a blast playing golf, bowling, tennis and much much more!!!! I wanted to share a few pics with ya of the boys enjoy'n their gift from santa!!! (some of these games are just too cute and funny watching them play)

Here are the boys boxing!

Daddy giving Josh golfing lessons. He's getting better at it!

and Jase taking a swing at golf. (you will have to excuse the mess in the pictures! we were doing laundry and still getting all picked up and put away after Christmas.)
You know speaking of Christmas gifts and enjoying them, I want to introduce to you the newest members of the Lawrence family.  We had gotten Josh a frog habitat for Christmas because he had been asking for a frog for a while now and thought, well ok lets get the boy a frog!  We went to Petsmart and found THE frog and decided that one would get lonely and ended up getting two frogs.  To be correct we actually got Fire bellied toads. They are lime green and black on top and yep you guessed it fire red and black on their bellies and the end of their toes are red too, so it looks like the have painted toe nails!! Believe it or not they are kind of cute looking!  Josh hasn't settled on names yet, a few have been thrown around but nothing serious though. Well without further adieu here they are......

see, now aren't they cute!  Josh sure thinks so,(well actually he thinks they're cool not cute) and boy is he proud of them! (as it should be)
Well it's getting late, I hope you enjoyed the update!
MAY GOD  BLESS!

Christmas Festivities!!!

I can not beleive its over!  This year was a good one like always, of course.  We had our 6 Christmas', first with The Lawrences, second we got together with Colts parents and sister and her family, third we had an evening with the my parents and brother and his family, then we had our usual Christmas get together with the Well's side.  Our fifth Christmas extravaganza was Christmas Eve breakfast at Papa Jacks and Granny Ednas to eat (of course) and open more presents.  We all have had such a wonderful time with everyone and are blessed to have such close and loving family members!!!  When we finished up at the Lawrence farm we headed home to prepare for Santas arrival!  We made and decorated cookies.........

put out magic.......sorry had to do a quick game of hide and go seek with the boys. where was I.... OH YEA, put out some magic reindeer feed and some carrots for rudolf........

these boys of mine are just too cute and thoughtful! Speaking of thoughtful, I wanted to share with you the cutest story ever!  A few weeks ago on our way to school my oldest son Jase, out of no where said "mom, I want to get santa a gift, a snow globe with him and his reindeer in it for christmas" It surprised me that Jase said that, dont get me wrong he's sweet and  has a very soft and kind heart but I would have thought Josh would have said it before my Jasey june bug.  Any ways  he asked me if I would buy one for him and of course I said yes. I did however ask if it was ok to buy one with just santa or just the reindeer in it because it might be a little hard to find one with both santa and his reindeer in it!  He immediately said "no mom it has to be santa and his reindeer", what could I say.... I said ok!  Well that afternoon on my lunch break I went to Target in search of the perfect snow globe for santa.  I looked through all of the snow globes I could find and.....nothing, nata!!!!  I had decided to give in and just buy one with santa in it and break it to Jase that it was all I could find.  I turned the corner of and isle and something just told me to look down and there it was, the perfect snow globe on the bottom shelf pushed behind a bunch of other ones all alone just waiting on me.  Needless to say I purchased it and was so excited to show Jase after school.  After school I surprised Jase and boy was he ecstatic!!! He was adamant on wraping it him self and putting a name tag on and signing it all by him self!  He said "mom santa is going to love this and keep it forever, isnt he?" "Yes he is and of course he will keep it forever" I said.  Well this brings us to our 6th and final Christmas.

We sat out santa's cookies and milk along with the gift from Jase, read the Night Before Christmas and said our prayers and off to bed we went.  Well,  come Christmas morning santa had eaten some of the cookies, drank all the milk, taken his gift and left a very sweet letter for the boys.  The reindeer ate the oats and carrots and santa had left some goodies for all.

Santa had left a Wii and some games, thanks santa.  He had also left some good stuff in our stockings too.

The boys got tons of stuff and loved everything!  Jase and Josh both just light up when they saw everything and knew this was the day they could just rip into all the gifts!!!!  Its such a blessing and a joy to watch your kids open their gifts on Christmas morning and share in their excitement when they tare into a present they have been wanting and asking for all year!

After the boys seen and went through all that santa had brought them it was time for the other gifts awaiting them under the tree!  I wont go into telling you all that they got but it was alot and we spent the better part of the day putting together and adding batteries to them all!!! :) How about I just show you.

Well like I said I cant believe Christmas has once again come and gone but may we always keep the spirit of Christmas in  and with us the whole year through, Jesus Christ!!!  MAY GOD BLESS!
